I chose Beijing Chinese Language and Culture College because it offers the strongest combination of intensive Chinese language training, cultural immersion, and HSK preparation, all of which are essential for my goal of pursuing a bachelors degree in China. After researching different Chinese language schools, I found that Beijing Chinese Language and Culture College is the best choice because it specializes in teaching Chinese language and culture to international students. As the only college in China dedicated specifically to Chinese language and culture education for overseas students, it has over 70 years of experience helping students around the world succeed. This gives me confidence that I will receive high-quality instruction in a supportive learning environment.
One of the biggest reasons I chose this college is its strong HSK preparation. Since the college is also an official HSK testing center, I can study and take the exam at the same place, making the learning process much more convenient. I am excited to learn experienced teachers who understand the difficulties international students face and know how to help them improve efficiently. Another feature that attracted me is the colleges focus on Chinese culture. Besides language classes, the college offers elective courses such as Chinese calligraphy, traditional Chinese painting, martial arts, Chinese classics, and Business Chinese. I am also very excited to participate in cultural activities and festivals. I believe these courses and activities will allow me to experience Chinese culture firsthand, which is essential for adapting to university life and succeeding in my future studies in China.
After completing my studies, I aim to achieve HSK Level 5, and apply for a bachelors degree at a top Chinese university such as Peking University. I think that the language skills and cultural knowledge I gain at Beijing Chinese Language and Culture College will prepare me for success in higher education and my future career. *4. High School Graduation Certificate
-A formal graduation certificate of your highest completed education level (e.g., Senior High School, Bachelor’s, or Master’s degree).
-If the document is not in Chinese or English, it must be translated into Chinese or English and notarized by an authorized translation agency or relevant authority. Self-translations are not accepted.
*5. High School Academic Transcripts
-Formal academic transcripts of your highest completed education level (e.g., Senior High School, Bachelor’s, or Master’s degree), covering ALL academic years, NOT just the final year.
-If the document is not in Chinese or English, it must be translated into Chinese or English and notarized by an authorized translation agency or relevant authority. Self-translations are not accepted.
*6. Non-criminal Record Certificate
-Obtain a police clearance certificate from the local police station where you currently reside, confirming no criminal record in the past 3 months at the time of application.
-If you are currently in China, the certificate must be issued by the local Chinese police.
-If the document is not in Chinese or English, it must be translated and notarized by an authorized agency or relevant authority. Self-translations are not accepted.*7. Recommendation Letter

-Must be written in Chinese or English by professors or teachers from your last university or high school.
-Letters must include the recommender’s name, contact information (email and phone), and handwritten signature (no typed signatures).
-Please make the letters as official as possible.
-If you plan to apply to multiple universities, do not mention the name of a specific Chinese university in the letter, to avoid rewriting for each application.*8. Please confirm your accommodation preference
