If you want to book our translation service, please pay and book it at least 2 weeks before the application deadline for submission of all documents;
If you want to book our guardian service, you need to pay and book it 2 months before the application deadline, just in case your application fails because of failed to submit application documents in time.

*1. Passport photo

A recent passport-sized photo of the applicant. 2 inch, white background photo in electronic edition

*2. Photocopy of valid passport

With name, passport number & expiration date, and photo included

*3. Scholarship Application Form

-Download the application form, fill it out on your computer, and submit it in Word format (.docx).
-Complete all fields as fully and accurately as possible. Do not leave any blanks — write “None” if a section does not apply.
-The form must be filled in English or Chinese.

*4. High School Graduation Certificate

-A formal graduation certificate of your highest completed education level (e.g., Senior High School, Bachelor’s, or Master’s degree).
-If the document is not in Chinese or English, it must be translated into Chinese or English and notarized by an authorized translation agency or relevant authority. Self-translations are not accepted.

*5. High School Academic Transcripts

-Formal academic transcripts of your highest completed education level (e.g., Senior High School, Bachelor’s, or Master’s degree), covering ALL academic years, NOT just the final year.
-If the document is not in Chinese or English, it must be translated into Chinese or English and notarized by an authorized translation agency or relevant authority. Self-translations are not accepted.

*6. Non-criminal Record Certificate

-Obtain a police clearance certificate from the local police station where you currently reside, confirming no criminal record in the past 3 months at the time of application.
-If you are currently in China, the certificate must be issued by the local Chinese police.
-If the document is not in Chinese or English, it must be translated and notarized by an authorized agency or relevant authority. Self-translations are not accepted.

*7. Recommendation Letter

-Download template here then ask teachers to write for you.
-Must be written in Chinese or English by professors or teachers from your last university or high school.
-Letters must include the recommender’s name, contact information (email and phone), and handwritten signature (no typed signatures).
-Please make the letters as official as possible.
-If you plan to apply to multiple universities, do not mention the name of a specific Chinese university in the letter, to avoid rewriting for each application.

Tips:
For applicants who are in China: If you are an employee, you still need to provide employment separation certificate and your current residence permit. If you are a student, you need to provide transfer certificate, leaving certificate, certificate of attendance rate issued by previous school and your current residence permit.
